The Danube, splitting into countless branches, weaves through the Little Hungarian Plain, creating a truly unique natural landscape. The Szigetköz region, with its maze of riverbeds and charming island world, is a hidden wilderness best discovered from the water.
The Mosoni-Danube is the southern branch of the Danube River, meandering for over 100 kilometers before flowing back into the main river near the village of Vének, just past Győr. On April 26, paddlers can experience this winding, forest-lined waterway, dotted with fallen trees and reed beds — a true paradise for nature lovers.
