Mókus’s music is brought to life by longing.

Her songs are inspired by Hungarian, Balkan, and Gypsy music — but also by anything filled with emotion, passion, thought, or that deeply touches the soul and won’t let go… where the air around burns with heat…

The lyrics are poems by towering Hungarian poets (Attila József, János Pilinszky, Petőfi, Radnóti…), offering comfort when needed, answers or refuge if sought — but above all, they save lives and souls.

The members of Mókus’s band are both her idols and her friends.
