Honey is humanity’s oldest sweetener, and the history of gingerbread is assumed to be nearly as old. This temporary exhibition, created in collaboration between the Rómer Museum and the BTM Kiscell Museum, presents the past of the gingerbread-baking craft, peeking into small rural workshops, the influential Győr dynasty the Zechmeisters’ business, and the grand enterprise of a Pest guild master, Imre Beliczay, and his descendants.
Guided tours start at 5:00 PM.
