Located in the western part of the city, approx. the 250-hectare floodplain forest – which is divided into two parts by the Mosoni-Danube – is a popular hiking spot and one of Győr’s largest, coherent green areas.

Next to the nine-kilometer long walking path, well-kept clearings, fire pits, a forest gym, and a playground await visitors. The nature trail in the Bishop’s Forest presents the forest community, the typical plants and rich fauna of the area in a natural environment.
