The exhibition commemorates the martyrdom of the Blessed Vilmos Apor by showcasing his life and achievements and remembering his sacrifice and martyrdom. An interesting aspect of the exhibition is that it is situated in the exact same place where Vilmos Apor was hiding women and children from the intruders, and where he eventually suffered a martyr’s death. In addition to excerpts from his diary, the bishop’s life sacrifice leading to his martyrdom is evoked by various relics, documents, audio and light effects.
