Advent in Győr

Let the light of Advent be for everyone – the Advent Festival in Győr begins.

Advent not only marks the beginning of the Christmas season but also carries the promise of joy in anticipation, the growing light as we light one more candle on the wreath each week, all the way to the miraculous holiday. In 2024, for this special occasion, the Municipality of Győr and the team of the Győr Arts and Festival Center are preparing many new surprises and innovations, in addition to the traditional Advent splendor and customs that people have come to expect.
