One of the most beautiful parts of the city center, the peninsula at the junction of the Mosoni-Danube and the Rába river, is home to one of Győr’s most impressive facilities, the RQ Water Adventure Park and Spa.

The former beach spa was built in 1931 based on the plans of Alfréd Hajós, exploiting the features of the medicinal water of Győr, which was already known and loved in the Middle Ages. The Spa, which was renovated in 2023, is the world’s first 7 starfish water adventure park, which offers full services, 21 pools and an exclusive Japanese sauna world with 150 seats for those who want to bathe.

Located on an area of 4.5 hectares, it has one of the most spectacular children’s facilities in Hungary with 11 slides, which offers children a special experience with climbing walls made of various elements, a Spray park and animation programs.

The main curiosity of the Water Adventure Park is the 32-meter soda siphon slide tower. The top can be reached with a panoramic elevator for up to 15 people, and in the evenings it impresses visitors with light shows.
