Benedictine building complex

This building complex is located on the south side of the Széchenyi square. The building complex is the Benedictine High school, the church and Benedictine friary. The origin of the complex is from the 17thcentury.

The refectory (dining room) was the first appearance of baroque art in the building. Many frescos from the Jesuit period were found during recent restoration, however, most of the stuccos are from the 18th century.
